Privacy Policy

How Flayv collects, uses, and protects personal information through flayv.co.

Effective · Last updated

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Flayv ("Flayv", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through flayv.co and any pages or forms hosted on it.

Flayv is organized in the United States. You can reach us about anything in this policy at sales@flayv.co.

This policy covers the public website only. If you become a client, the handling of data inside a specific engagement — advertising accounts, analytics platforms, customer files, and anything else you give us access to — is governed by the separate agreement we sign with you, not by this page.

2. Information we collect

We keep this deliberately narrow. We collect three things.

Information you send us. When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company name if you provide one, and the content of your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you put in that email.

Information collected automatically. We use privacy-focused website analytics that measure traffic in aggregate: pages viewed, referring source, approximate country, browser and device type, and screen size. This analytics layer does not use cookies, does not assign you a persistent identifier, and does not follow you to other websites.

Server and security logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs, including IP address, user agent, and timestamp. These exist to keep the site running and to detect abuse, and they are retained briefly.

We do not collect payment details through this website, we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on it, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

3. Why we use it

What we use it forLegal basis (where GDPR applies)
Replying to your enquiry and discussing a possible engagementLegitimate interests; steps taken at your request before entering a contract
Sending you marketing email, if you asked for itYour consent, withdrawable at any time
Understanding in aggregate which pages are usefulLegitimate interests in improving our own site
Keeping the site available and preventing abuseLegitimate interests in security
Meeting legal, tax, or accounting obligationsLegal obligation

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

4. Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers, and only for the functions listed:

  • Website hosting and content delivery — serves the pages and keeps security logs.
  • Transactional email delivery — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
  • Website analytics — produces the aggregate traffic measurement described above.
  • Business email — stores the correspondence you send us.

Each of these acts on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

5. International transfers

Flayv is organized in the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this means your information may be transferred outside your home jurisdiction. Where we make such transfers, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where they apply.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months, so we have context if you come back to us, and then deleted. Marketing subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Security logs are kept for a short operational period. Records we are required to retain for legal, tax, or accounting reasons are kept for the period the relevant law specifies.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • have information deleted;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive information you gave us in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — noting that we do neither.

To exercise any of these, email sales@flayv.co. We will not treat you differently for making a request. If you are in the EEA or the UK and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics does not set cookies. Where the site stores anything in your browser, it is limited to strictly necessary items such as remembering your light or dark theme preference, which stays on your device and is never sent to us.

If we later add anything that does require consent, we will ask for it before it runs and update this section.

9. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, keep dependencies current, and limit who can reach the systems that hold enquiry data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change materially affects how we handle your information, we will say so clearly rather than changing the text quietly.
